First Official Practice Day

A relieved Ron Tabery arrived here about 5 yesterday afternoon.   Asystent Menedzera, Colin Mead arrived yesterday, too, and helped Ron rig SS.  Then we got Ron's European Flarm installed and operating and he's now out on the grid ready to fly with his five US Team Mates.

15M task is 504km today, 18M is 526km, and Open Class 610km.  Launch began at about 1120 under a beautiful field of great looking cumulus.

We are hopeful that Scoring will post scores today.

DB and SS started at 1205.  From what we hear on the Team radio, 7K and 2XX are thinking about a 1300 start.  Not much radio traffic from Pete and Gary, yet.
