The 15 and 18 Meter Classes have been cancelled for today. Open Class has been given a 242km Assigned Task. My Leszno weather observation from the Open Class grid is: 2,000' broken, 25,000' overcast, visibility 12 miles, wind 360 at 5 knots. The launch has been pushed back again to 1345 local. Now, first launch is confirmed for 1345.
Well…
The Open Class launched and was given a start time of 1437. Nine sailplanes were counted landing for a re-light. Dick and Ron went through the start gate in good shape at 1437 or 1438. Several minutes after 1437, by our GPS time, the Director of the Competition cancelled the task.
